Rob Lynch has been a Commissioner since 1999 and is chair of the Technology Advisory Committee.
Rob is a 4th generation Yakima native and graduated from Eisenhower High school. He obtained a BS from University of Washington.
Rob spent a number of years as General Manager/Dealer Successor with Lynch Motor Co., and in 1985, became owner/farmer of RIC Orchards. In addition to this work he was employed with Roza Investment Company as a Farm Management/Consultant. Since he sold his 350 acre diversified organic orchard in 2002, he has managed and provided field service to orchards across the state.
Rob married Erin in 1995 and they have two sons, Jake and Drew.
Rob and Erin work endlessly striving to give their two young boys with autism a better life, and are succeeding. Rob has trained in and taught Classical Okinawan Karate for over 35 years. He also enjoys flying, rugby, fly fishing and hunting.
