Summary: The Wenatchee Valley Pear 1PM Project (WVPP) seeks to demonstrate, in commercial orchards, the increased use of biological control of key pear pests to develop more effective and economical pest control programs. The year 2000 was the second ofa three-year project. Funding was provided by several sources: the Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission, the Washington State Commission on Pesticide Registration, the North Central Washington Fieldmen's Association, and the participating growers.
