Anne Morrell has been a Commissioner since 2023, and she also serves as co-chair of the Apple Horticulture and Postharvest Committee.
Anne was born and raised in Yakima, WA, and she currently lives in Quincy, WA. She has a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from UC Davis, an M.S. in Plant Science from California State University Fresno, and a Ph.D. in Horticulture from Washington State University.
Anne is the Food and Worker Safety Manager at Columbia Fruit Packers, a company with apple and cherry packinghouses in Wenatchee and Yakima and orchards throughout the Columbia Basin and Yakima Valley.
Anne has two sons, and in her free time she likes to travel and to host dinner parties for family and friends.
