Improving shipping quality of cherry by pre-harvest Ca and NaCl sprays

Summary: This projects objectives were: 1) Study the effect of preharvest calcium (Ca) and salt (NaCl) treatments on shipping quality of PNW cherry cultivars. 2) Determine the response of fruit growth, fruit size, yield, and return bloom to Ca/NaCl sprays. 3)Develop a commercial Ca spray protocol to improve shipping auality of PNW cherry cultivars
