Summary: The objectives of this project were: 1. Identify postharvest protocols to maximize storage life of ‘Honeycrisp’ and other softscald-sensitive cultivars. Substantially met for ‘Honeycrisp’, not met for other cultivars. 2. Characterize physiological events that result in softscald symptom development. Partially met.
