Summary: The biological control of western tentiform leafminer (Pyllonorycter elmaella) was found to be susceptible to disruption in organic orchards when Entrust was sprayed in early-mid May. These treatments resulted in very high levels of damage and also affected biological control of the white apple leafhopper, Typhlocyba pomeria.
