Summary: The objectives of this project were: 1. Evaluate effectiveness and timing of preharvest fungicides in controlling postharvest decay and their effects on fruit finish. 2. Evaluate various pre- and postharvest integrated programs for control of postharvest diseases. 3. Establish baseline sensitivity of major postharvest pathogens to new postharvest fungicides and assess the potential risk of fungicide resistance development in the orchard/storage system. 4. Evaluate new technologies for decay control.
