Summary: This project is a collaborative effort involving research in commercial and experimental orchards in Washington and Oregon. The main objectives are to (1) determine the efficacy of chemical bloom thinning agents in reducing crop load and to (2) determine to determine the effect of crop load reduction on fruit size and quality. Trials were conducted in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
