Summary: Theobjectives for this project were: 1. Develop preharvest programs using new fungicides to control postharvest decay for long-term storage of pears. 2. Evaluate effectiveness of pre- and postharvest fungicides in controlling fruit-to-fruit spread of gray mold and Phacidiopycnis rot during storage. 3. Evaluate effectiveness of preharvest fungicides and postharvest drench with fungicides in controlling Phacidiopycnis rot.
