Summary: The objectives of this project were: 1) Determine characteristics of three net colors on light spectrum and their effects on the light quality and quantity of incoming radiation throughout the day. 2) Quantify the impact of nets on orchard microclimate, pyotosynthesis, vegetative growth and tree stress. 3) Evaluate fruit and leaf nutritional balance and fruit quality under different light condiditons.
