Summary: Postharvest decay in pears is caused by several fungal pathogens. This study identified several of these pathogens colonizing tissues from initial stages of fruit development, and fungicides and other products that can be applied at bloom time and integrated into existing pre-harvest and postharvest fungicide management programs.
