Summary: Specific objectives of this project include: 1. To develop alternative methods of managing virus diseases with particular reference to those where root-grafting and/or nematode transmission play significant roles in disease epidemiology. 2. To develop laboratory tests that increase grower accessibility to rapid virus diagnosis. The ability to correctly identify the underlying cause of poor fruit production is required for appropriate corrective measures to be implemented.
