Summary: The objectives of this project were: 1. Determine type and time of atmosphere establishment in conjunction with different maturity levels to optimize storage of winter pears. 2. Complete studies presently in progress concerning maturity and storage of 'Bosc' pears and disorder associated with the long-term storage of 'Anjou' pears.
