Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB), an invasive pentatomid from Asia, continues to expand its range in Washington State. Its ability to use native host plants may be a factor in its success in the arid interior. An exotic parasitoid, Trissolcus japonicus, was found in Vancouver and may help regulate populations.
