Summary: The objectives of this project were: 1. Establish a pear rootstock advisory committee. 2. Review literature and search national and international collections for pear rootstock accessions. 3. Initiate propagation and planting of a new pear rootstock collection in Washington State. 4. Develop strategy for pre-selection of seedling populations.
