Summary: The six pear scions/rootstocks planted in 2005, now entering their 6th season, were evaluated on the following: 1. survival, 2. suckering, 3. vegetative growth potential (trunk size and tree diameter), 4. yield, and 5. fruit size. The yield and fruit size of the 2002 D’Anjou plots were also documented at both Hood River and Cashmere, as the trees were much slower than the other cultivars to yield crops adequate for evaluation.
