Postharvest Practices Influence Cherry Quality

Summary: The objective of this project was to determine what changes are necessary in post-harvest practices to result in improved quality of cherries in the marketplace. Additional objectives sought to extend the shelf life of cherries through the use of controlled atmospheres and modified packaging.
