Summary: The objectives of this project were: 1) Document Honeycrisp fruit quality in local store displays. 2) Test new tools to determine fruit quality parameters. 3) Serve on WSU Tree Fruit Extension team as postharvest specialist. 4) Field test methods to induce bitter pit in Honeycrisp. 5) Compare and document fruit quality of Premier Honeycirsp and Honeycrisp strains 6) Expand collaborative efforts with other research programs working on fruit quality management
