Equipment Operator

Gerardo Garcia

Gerardo started with WTFRC in the Spring of 2013. He is currently the Equipment Operator/Assistant responsible for all the spray applications such as Apple and Cherry MRL (Maximum Residue Levels) trials, Chemical Thinning (CT) trials and Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) trials. Along with that, he operates orchard equipment and assists with other research projects when needed.

Gerardo grew up in agriculture and it has always been a part of his life. He is really interested in being part of the next agriculture generation and wants to help make a difference in the industry.

When he isn’t working, Gerardo enjoys outdoor activities, camping, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family.
