Research Assistant

Mackenzie Perrault

Mackenzie started with WTFRC in May, 2012 as a summer intern. She is now a Research Assistant in the Yakima office which includes office management, assisting in supervising and training of personnel as well as helping with lab and field evaluations.

Mackenzie grew up in Zillah, Washington. She graduated from Zillah High School in 2011 and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood from Heritage University.

While she grew up in an agriculture town, she didn’t know as much about the industry until working directly with it.  Mackenzie says that she has gained more knowledge regarding how farming functions.  Working in this job has opened her eyes to a whole different world of farming and produce. One her favorite aspects about working at the Commission is the ability to meet a variety of people; learning to work and communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Mackenzie is married to Trevor Perrault, a farmer in the Yakima Valley. When not working she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
