Data to Model Apple Airblast Spraying Drift Exposure Levels

Author: Lav R. Khot, Gwen-Alyn Hoheisel, Harold Thistle

Published: 2020

Summary: Study generated field data for validation of a mechanistic spray drift model to help assess pesticide drift and human exposure risks from airblast sprayer applications in ‘central leader’ apple. Such data driven models will help change regulatory rules that currently consider the worst-case scenario, resulting unnecessary label restrictions.
