Robotic scout for tree fruit

Summary: The goals for 2010 were to improve the apple detection and sizing accuracy for both red and green fruit, and to upgrade the prototype Scout’s robustness and operating scale. The project was to culminate with field tests to demonstrate crop load estimation on a significantly larger scale than in previous years.
